About the Skateboarding Skeleton Artwork:
In 1977, Bones wheels commissioned artist VCJ to create black-and-white posters. A year later, Court utilized the Bones theme and a life-sized skeleton named Rosie from a medical supply shop to create a new concept: a skateboarding skeleton. Upon its completion in 1978, Court's piece became the first Powell Peralta illustration, featured on stickers and T-shirts.
